100 % POP!

Sandra Oxenryd - Make Me Better [ Purchase ]
Sandra won Fame Factory in 2005. She was the first girl to ever win the "contest", and she did it good too. Her album was released shortly after her win, and included only 9 tracks - 9 superb tracks though. This is one of them! A song you might have heard by the Dutch singer Esther Hart, who recorded it in 2003.

Lili & Susie - Sending Out A Message
Let's go back in time. During the late 80's and early 90's - Lili and her sister Susie, conquered the Swedish popmarket. You MIGHT have heard their most successful singles 'Oh Mama' and 'What's The Colour of Love?'.
This track is one of my personal favourites. Something for all you 80's music-lovers out there.

Evan - Everything I'd Ever Do (Euro mix) [ Purchase :: Website ]
Evan is quite unknown in Sweden despite his good material. He wrote and produced his debut-album completely on his own. This song I'm sharing was his debut-single and peaked at #19 on the Swedish single-chart. For those who are interested - Evan will sing 'Under Your Spell' in the fourth semi of Melodifestivalen 2006.

Look out for further updates next week.

Hi Guys!

Not sure if you saw, but "B-Boys International's "One Step Closer made my Top 15 tunes of the year over on Chart Rigger, at #3!

Have they done any other music that's available? I don't know a whole lot about them, but love that song! Any info is much appreciated!

happy new year :-)

Wow! That's a high position. Well deserved though, I love that song too.

B-Boys haven't released anything other than 'One Step Closer', unfortunately, but two of the members have released music under different names.

Paul M is one of them, and he's released three singles this year along with an album. They're soul-ish songs though, and not very pop. If you want to hear what he sounds like I recommend 'How Many Times', the only song by him that made the top 10 here.

Peter used to be in the euro-dance group Basic Element back in the 90's. I guess they were quite similiar to B-Boys, except that they sounded very 90's. 'The Promise Man' and 'The Ride' were two songs by them which I liked.

The songwriters of 'One Step Closer' also used to have a rap/popgroup called Balsam Boys. A song of theirs was one of the very first songs I ever posted on this site, and it's a really catchy song. It's in Swedish though, 'Här Kommer Sommaren' it's called.

If you have any problems with finding the songs I can help you, as I have them all.

Happy new year to you too!

ps: great to see Darin in that list too. :ds
